About The Position

This is a State Certified Nurse Aide Training Program that is a fast-paced class completed in 3 weeks. Weeks 1 and 2 focus predominately on lecture and book work. During week 3 students will transition to a clinical learning environment with hands on patient care. The next class starts June 8, 2026. Class week one and two is from 8:30am - 5:00pm and week three is from 6:45am - 3:15pm.

Requirements

Completed Application
Valid Photo Identification
Social Security Card
Proof of High School Diploma or GED
No absences or tardiness permitted.
Must maintain a grade average of an 85 to continue in the course.
Books and Supplies ($40 cash) as a deposit on the first day of class.
One set of scrubs (dark grey).
One wrist-watch with a second hand.
Pass a criminal background check.
Pass a consultation of the South Carolina and/or National Abuse Registry for Children and Adults.

Students are chosen based on facility need, shift demand, entrance exam score, previous work history and students’ overall attitude.
The best qualified candidates from the class will be chosen for employment.

Responsibilities

Complete lecture and book work during weeks 1 and 2.
Participate in clinical learning environment with hands-on patient care during week 3.
Maintain a grade average of 85 to continue in the course.
Wear scrubs (dark grey) every day to class and clinical.
Wear a wrist-watch with a second hand.
