About The Position

Serves as the first contact for the department. This role involves greeting and directing prospective students and visitors, routing telephone calls, and scheduling appointments. The Student Ambassador will coordinate daily front desk activities, including maintaining key inventory, database maintenance, and data entry. Responsibilities also include performing word processing tasks for business correspondence, forms, tables, labels, flyers, posters, and other office documents, as well as tracking and filing office documents, purchase orders, and invoices. The position provides back-up coverage for other office staff and performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must be successfully enrolled in a degree program
  • Must be registered for at least 6 credit hours each term (excluding summer)
  • Must be available to work a minimum 20 hours per week (maximum 30 hours per week)
  • Occasional evening hours and weekend hours required
  • Upon earning CNM degree, can remain employed for one additional term after graduating, as long as the above requirements are met
