About The Position

The Student Admissions Representative provides timely support for student application processing in compliance with government and management directives. The position is based in-office at MTC’s corporate office in Centerville, Utah, and supports recruitment and outreach efforts in an assigned area. The representative conducts recruitment activities, builds relationships with referral sources, helps lead center tours, follows up with prospective students and tour attendees, prepares related reports, and promotes student employability programs.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or a closely related field; or an associate degree and two years of related experience.
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team effort.
Valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Oracle Fusion, an applicant tracking system, and a ticketing software solution.

Responsibilities

Conduct direct recruitment activities, including public speaking.
Develop relationships with referral sources such as human services agencies, recreation centers, youth organizations, local high schools, one-stops, and churches.
Participate in center tours and contact potential enrollees to explore enrollment.
Prepare, schedule, and provide outreach presentations in the assigned area in support of regional outreach efforts.
Assist with leading tours and follow up with attendees by email, text message, or phone call.
Conduct a tour survey and communicate with the supervisor and center regarding follow-up.
Prepare required reports related to recruitment and retention efforts.
Participate in and promote student employability programs and activities.
