About The Position

The Student Admissions Representative supports timely student application processing in compliance with government and management directives. This is an in-office position at MTC’s corporate office in Centerville, Utah. The representative conducts recruitment and outreach activities, builds connections with referral sources, supports center tours and follows up with prospective students, prepares recruitment and retention reports, and promotes student employability programs and activities.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or a closely related field; or an associate’s degree and two years of related experience.
Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Oracle Fusion, an applicant tracking system, and a ticketing software solution.

Responsibilities

Conduct direct recruitment activities, including public speaking; develop relationships with referral sources such as human services agencies, recreation centers, youth organizations, local high schools, one-stops, and churches; participate in center tours; and contact potential enrollees to explore enrollment.
Prepare, schedule, and deliver outreach presentations in the assigned area in support of regional outreach efforts.
Assist with leading tours and follow up with attendees by email, text message, or phone call.
Conduct a tour survey and communicate with the supervisor and center to coordinate follow-up.
Prepare required reports related to recruitment and retention efforts.
Participate in and promote student employability programs and activities.
