About The Position

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Structural CAD Drafter for its Denver-area team to apply engineering and drafting skills to design packages for a variety of projects. The role assists with creating detailed structural drawings and project documents in collaboration with engineers and other design team members. Drawings must conform to project specifications, client CAD standards, scope of work, design parameters, codes, and industry practices. The position focuses on quality and timely delivery of drafting and design assignments.

Requirements

One to three years of drafting and design experience, including at least some experience in the structural discipline.
Must be eligible and able to obtain a U.S. Security clearance.
Intermediate to advanced skills in CAD, layout, and BIM.
Proficiency with recent releases of AutoCAD and Revit.
Computer skills for daily activities, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and BlueBeam.
Ability to work on multiple projects with various project teams and prioritize and organize tasks.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Nice To Haves

Certificate from a CAD training program or a technical/associate degree in engineering or a related field.
