About The Position

Coffman Engineers is seeking a Structural Revit Designer/Drafter for its Portland office. The role contributes to engineering projects by developing structural building models, construction documents, and project deliverables using Revit and BIM technologies. Working with structural engineers and project teams, the designer/drafter creates, coordinates, and maintains detailed 3D models and drawing sets for a variety of project types. The successful candidate has substantial Revit-based structural modeling and documentation experience and an understanding of BIM workflows and interdisciplinary coordination. Revit proficiency and BIM expertise are the primary focus; AutoCAD and other design software experience are beneficial. The role independently completes design and drafting assignments while maintaining quality, accuracy, and timely delivery. Requirements

At least 3 years of Revit drafting and design experience, with strong Revit skills.
Advanced CAD, layout, and BIM skills.
Computer skills for daily activities, including email, Microsoft Teams, word processing, spreadsheets, BlueBeam, and graphics.
Ability to work from engineering sketches to produce computer-generated drawing sets, including plans, details, schedules, technical specifications, and notes.
Ability to work efficiently with numerous project teams.

Nice To Haves

Structural building and framing drafting experience.
Technical or associate degree in architectural/structural design and drafting or a related engineering field.
Experience with the latest release of AutoCAD.
Broader knowledge of BIM workflows and interdisciplinary coordination.

Responsibilities
