Structural CAD Drafter (1-3 years)
About The Position
Coffman Engineers is seeking a Structural CAD Drafter to join its Denver Office and help develop design packages for a variety of projects. The role involves creating detailed structural drawings and project documents in collaboration with engineers and other design team members. Drawings must conform to project specifications, client CAD standards, scope of work, design parameters, codes, and industry practices. The drafter is expected to maintain a high level of quality and deliver assignments on time. This position works with multiple project teams in a professional office environment. Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of drafting and design experience, with at least some experience in the structural discipline.
- Must be eligible and able to obtain a U.S. Security clearance.
- Intermediate to advanced skills in CAD, layout, and BIM.
- Proficiency with recent releases of AutoCAD and Revit.
- Computer skills for daily activities, including email, word processing, spreadsheets, and BlueBeam.
- Ability to work on multiple projects with various project teams, prioritizing and organizing tasks as needed.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Certificate from a CAD training program or a technical/associate degree in engineering or a related field (preferred).
