Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen, criminal background investigation and MVR check.
Must possess valid class C driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Repair and maintain City streets, sidewalks, and curbs; prepare streets for concrete and asphalt patches; set up proper barricades and traffic control at work sites to warn traffic of work hazards.
Operate trucks (heavy equipment); loads, hauls, and unload dirt, sand, asphalt, and other materials.
Cut, collect, and dispose of tree limbs, weeds, trash, litter, debris, and bulk items.
Assist with sidewalk markings, street signs, and streetlights.
Sand streets and participate in ice control activities.
Inspect work in progress and at completion for compliance with applicable policies, procedures, plans, specifications, and standards of quality and safety.
