About The Position

Keep our City moving—one street at a time! As a City Streets Maintenance Worker, you'll tackle a variety of hands-on tasks to keep our roads, right-a-ways, and equipment in top shape. No two days are the same, and your work makes a real impact on the community.

Requirements

One (1) year of experience in performing semi-skilled building or mechanical, construction, or grounds maintenance tasks.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid Driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as a part of the position.
Be willing to work snow routes that include 12-hour shifts during the months of November through March.
Be able to pass a background investigation, drug and alcohol screenings, and a physical agility screening.
A passing grade on the written portion of the Class A or B CDL exam is required before employment.
Pass the driving portion of the Class A or B CDL exam with tanker endorsement within 12 months of being hired into position.

Nice To Haves

Concrete finishing experience.
A current Class A or B CDL license.
High school graduate or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

Assist with road, sidewalk, and facility maintenance, including snow removal and repairs.
Make minor adjustments, replace worn parts, and keep tools in top shape.
Maintain records, complete forms, and submit reports as needed.
Prune, fertilize, and treat trees and shrubs while safely removing damaged branches.
Drive dump trucks, snowplows, and bucket trucks to complete essential tasks.
