Strategy & Operations, Clinical Operations

Prosper Health•New York, NY

About The Position

Prosper Health is a mission-driven company providing insurance-covered, specialized mental health services for autistic and neurodivergent adults. The Strategy & Operations role sits within Clinical Operations and bridges clinical expertise with operational execution. The position owns high-priority therapy initiatives from start to finish, translating clinical ideas into programs clinicians can use in their daily work. The initial focus is launching care pathways and scaling them from a small group of clinicians to hundreds. The role works closely with the Therapy Strategy and Operations Lead, therapists, clinical leaders, and Product and Engineering to execute clinical strategy and the quality roadmap. Success includes broad adoption of structured care pathways, effective clinician resources and training, consistent note and treatment-plan quality, and progressively more efficient launches. This is an early role on a growing team, with scope expected to expand from care-pathway launches to larger and more ambiguous projects in therapy quality and other priorities. The work may include expanding AI-supported documentation and between-session support.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience.
  • Experience owning a project or launch end-to-end, including planning, tracking dependencies, identifying delays early, and adjusting course.
  • Ability to build strong partnerships with clinicians by understanding their pain points, listening, and earning buy-in without relying on authority.
  • Bias toward action and the ability to put workable solutions into practice with sufficient information.
  • Ability to break problems into clear parts, prioritize high-impact work, and use judgment about when to make decisions or seek clinical input or escalation.
  • Resourcefulness and determination when tools or processes are imperfect.
  • Curiosity, ability to learn new tools, willingness to ask questions about clinical workflows, and openness to feedback.

Nice To Haves

  • About 1–2 years in consulting, banking, or professional services, plus about 1–2 years in an operations role.
  • Operations experience at a high-growth startup.
  • Healthcare experience, especially with providers or payers.

Responsibilities

  • Launch care pathways end-to-end by turning clinical content into clinician-ready materials, managing launch logistics, training and supporting clinicians, and tracking results to determine when to expand to the next wave.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to improve the pathways product and launch process so care pathways can scale quickly.
  • Partner with clinical leadership to define quality standards for clinical notes and treatment plans.
  • Work with Product and Engineering to build and operate a review system that enables clinical reviewers to provide feedback, then roll it out to all therapists.
  • Execute other roadmap priorities, including potential expansion of AI-supported documentation and between-session support.
  • Coordinate with the Therapy Strategy and Operations Lead, therapists, clinical leaders, Product, and Engineering to advance clinical strategy and quality initiatives.
