About The Position

Duet is hiring a strategy and operations generalist to build and own the hiring system that supports the company’s growth. The role partners closely with senior leaders to turn evolving hiring needs into clearly defined roles, structured interview processes, and timely, dependable decisions. Initially, the position is hands-on, including sourcing candidates, conducting initial screens, coordinating interviews, and keeping hiring decisions moving. In parallel, the manager will create repeatable processes, standards, and systems that can scale as the company grows. The role owns the hiring lifecycle from role kickoff through signed offer. It shapes role scope and success criteria with senior leadership, develops structured interview plans, recruits and screens candidates, supports a strong candidate experience, and maintains hiring quality. The manager also coordinates interviews and debriefs, documents decisions, monitors hiring funnels, and improves processes to increase hiring speed and outcomes. Duet is an early-stage company supporting nurse-practitioner-led independent practices with AI-driven tools. Its network includes more than 100 practices and covers 400,000 annual visits. The role is hybrid in New York City. The salary range is $140,000–$160,000, plus bonus and equity.
