About The Position

Rogo is hiring a Talent Operations Manager to build and own the systems, data, and workflows that help its Talent team hire effectively. This hands-on role includes managing and improving the Ashby applicant tracking system, analyzing recruiting funnels, modeling recruiting capacity, and rolling out better processes with hiring managers. The manager will partner with Talent, Finance, and People to make hiring more predictable, maintain trustworthy data, and deliver a strong candidate experience. The role also focuses on identifying and implementing AI and automation opportunities across recruiting, measuring their effect on speed, quality, and candidate experience. The Talent Operations Manager will translate hiring plans into resourcing recommendations, connect hiring activity to business plans, improve processes from role opening through candidate handoff, and create documentation and training to make effective execution repeatable.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in talent operations, recruiting operations, or a related role, including building systems and processes in a fast-growing company.
  • Hands-on ownership of an applicant tracking system, including configuration, reporting, and workflow design.
  • Strong analytical skills, including experience building forecasts or capacity models from imperfect data.
  • Ability to turn ambiguous questions into clear analyses, explain implications, and recommend practical next steps.
  • Strong operational judgment, including knowing when processes need more structure and when they should be simpler.
  • Ability to work across Talent, Finance, People, and hiring teams, build alignment, and follow through on changes.
  • Attention to detail and discretion with sensitive information.
  • Genuine interest in improving hiring for candidates and interviewers.
  • Comfort working autonomously and with ambiguity in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Collaborative, organized, thoughtful, and kind approach.

  • Build recruiting capacity models and translate hiring plans into realistic resourcing recommendations, accounting for role complexity, recruiter capacity, backfills, and changing priorities.
  • Partner with Finance and People to reconcile approved roles, hiring progress, and expected start dates, surfacing gaps and trade-offs early.
  • Improve hiring workflows for opening roles, running interviews, collecting feedback, approving offers, and handing accepted candidates over to People.
  • Create practical documentation and training for recruiters and hiring managers, with clear ownership and processes for exceptions.
