About The Position

FutureFit AI is seeking a Manager, Strategy & Operations to join their team. This role is crucial for the leadership team, acting as the operational backbone to ensure company alignment, maintain trusted data, and manage contract and risk operations. It's a hands-on, high-ownership position in a small, nimble company that blends business judgment with disciplined execution. The role involves building the operating system of the company and is described as a "roll-up-your-sleeves" position, with a primary focus on operating cadence, tracking, and administration, while strategy is a secondary component.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in business operations, strategy and operations, strategic finance, or consulting
  • Comfort with numbers: ability to work from financial and operating metrics, spot leadership attention items, and flag them clearly
  • Comfort with contracts: ability to read an NDA or standard agreement, identify risk, and know what to escalate
  • Clear written and verbal communication: ability to brief outside counsel, prepare an executive pre-read, and explain a tradeoff to a non-specialist
  • High attention to detail across many moving parts, including trackers, calendars, repositories, and records

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to contract or legal operations
  • Experience supporting board and investor reporting
  • Familiarity with Carta or cap table management
  • Experience building lightweight systems (decision logs, risk registers, compliance calendars) from scratch

Responsibilities

  • Run the operating rhythm of the management team, the exec team, and the operating review, including agendas, pre-reads, a lightweight decision log, and follow-through on decisions.
  • Produce board and investor meetings, assembling decks and investor packages.
  • Partner with the Director of People to plan company onsites and team gatherings.
  • Maintain the company's metrics and OKR tracking.
  • Keep the tools inventory and licensing in order, along with a risk register and a compliance calendar.
  • Take the first pass on NDAs and standard agreements against a playbook, and route non-standard items to outside counsel.
  • Maintain the contract repository and an obligations tracker covering renewals, notice periods, and government reporting deliverables.
  • Run vendor onboarding and corporate records, including entity and cap table hygiene in Carta.
  • Take on scoped projects for the leadership team, including analyzing issues, framing options, and recommending paths to decisions.

Benefits

  • Quarterly travel for off-sites and team gatherings
