The Strategic Sales Lead role, based in Mississauga, ON, reports to the Vice President, Strategic Sales & Analytics, Canada. This critical leadership position is part of a transformational strategy and analytics team, focusing on managing POS insights, market strategy, and pricing recommendations for key accounts. The lead will be responsible for reporting on business and category health, identifying market opportunities, and delivering actionable sales analytics to drive decision-making across the retail channel. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, strategic, and data-driven team member who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced Analytics Degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience within a strategic sales environment
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and be detailed oriented with respect to ensuring deadlines are met
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel/ Office skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment
  • Ability to present and calibrate critical challenges on the executive level
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Elevated senior presence and answer-first communication skills
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel up to 20%, mostly on the East Coast

Responsibilities

  • Understand day to day impact of the POS to facilitate decision making
  • Measure and communicate sales results; i.e promotional lift and elasticity, expected shifting due to line extension, pricing strategy, focus project plans on highest impact, etc.
  • Deliver Daily/Weekly/Monthly analytics reports showing health of business
  • Analyze and evaluate pre- and post-promotion analyses for retailers, quantifying impact to brand and category
  • Present strategic insights based on internal and external data to gain alignment of major initiatives at multiple levels of the organization
  • Promotional financial analysis and forecasting
  • Identify, measure, and quantify marketplace/ retailer trends, issues and opportunities
  • Ability to problem solve and react to market threats
  • Be the go-to resource for all Sales leadership
  • Work with sales leadership to determine long term goals
