The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and leading annual growth strategies into key markets, managing a group of existing customers, and overseeing pricelist management, customer engagement activities, and organic growth goals. This role involves forecasting orders/sales, following up on quotations, managing the sales funnel, and working incoming leads. The Sales Manager will provide organizational updates through weekly sales calls and monthly business unit updates to the director of sales and marketing. This position requires maintaining sales volume, product mix, and selling price by staying current with market trends, identifying and removing obstacles to closing quotes, and working with various company departments to facilitate new business development. Collaboration with the customer care team on account development and customer satisfaction, as well as with operations and customers on inventory management and establishing favorable credit terms, is essential. The role also involves documenting activity in CRM (D365), supporting website and marketing material updates, and representing the organization to stakeholders. Travel is required approximately one week every 5-6 weeks (15-20%), and attendance at trade shows for representation and market research is expected.
