The Strategic Partnerships Sales Executive role involves managing the entire sales cycle, collaborating with enterprise organizations to introduce DoorDash for Business, and closing significant, complex deals. This position requires building relationships with executive-level stakeholders, understanding their business priorities, and providing customized solutions to enhance employee engagement and support. It is a consultative, hunter-oriented role that demands close collaboration with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, Legal, and Leadership teams, while also contributing to the growth of one of DoorDash's fastest-growing business units. Requirements

  • 7+ years of enterprise sales experience, with a proven track record of success in selling technology solutions to large enterprises.
  • Experience in managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes with the ability to sell at multiple levels within an organization.
  • Demonstrated success in establishing and scaling strategic partnerships that drive revenue and growth.
  • In-depth understanding of the relevant industry and its challenges, with the ability to position solutions that address client pain points.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with experience closing multi-million dollar deals and navigating contract terms and conditions.
  • Competence in leading conversations across highly matrixed organizations.
  • Ability to develop long-term, trust-based relationships with senior executives and maintain a client-first approach.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Expertise in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) for pipeline management and reporting.
  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and engage high-value, enterprise-level organizations to establish long-term partnerships and collaboration opportunities.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with senior executives and decision-makers (C-suite, VP-level) within target organizations, as well as internal DoorDash Executives, to support business initiatives and long-term team growth.
  • Understand the unique needs of enterprise clients and develop tailored strategic solutions that align with their business objectives and challenges.
  • Lead the sales process from initial outreach through negotiation and closure, including preparing for and executing regular Client business reviews.
  • Identify opportunities within key accounts to generate incremental revenue by expanding relationships across different regions and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (sales, marketing, product, legal) to ensure alignment on customer needs and partnership proposals.
  • Design go-to-market strategies for new partner integrations and business development initiatives in collaboration with leadership.
  • Maintain accurate forecasts, sales activity, and pipeline management using CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscapes, and new technologies to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
  • Achieve or exceed sales quotas and KPIs for enterprise partnerships.
