About The Position

Nabla is seeking a Strategic Partnerships Director to own partnerships that enhance Nabla's success and accelerate growth. This role involves managing two key partner types: product partners who extend Nabla's roadmap and EHR/platform partners for sales and integration. The Director will oversee the entire partnership lifecycle, from identification and negotiation to launching integrated capabilities that drive adoption and revenue. Additionally, this role will support corporate development efforts by monitoring the adjacent market and building key relationships.

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years in product partnerships, business development, or corporate development in Healthcare SaaS, with direct exposure to US health systems.
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage six to eight partner workstreams in parallel and coordinate cross-functionally, especially with Product and Engineering.
  • Understanding of Product and technical concepts including APIs and AI model integrations, with the ability to translate between stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving mentality and action-oriented approach.
  • Demonstrated success integrating a third-party and bringing the partnership to a live customer with strong adoption.
  • Experience personally negotiating and closing multi-party commercial agreements, including pricing, and owning the redline cycle.
  • Experience working with EHR integration constraints and PHI and BAA mechanics.
  • Proactive and self-motivated; capable of creating processes and playbooks.
  • Sound judgment on confidentiality, particularly for corporate development work.
  • Currently authorized to work in the United States and able to maintain authorization without employer sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a live view of adjacent categories (clinical decision support, chart intelligence, prior auth, virtual care platforms) and provide a strategic point of view on build vs. partner decisions.
  • Own executive relationships with product and EHR partners, driving influence for preferred status, early API access, and better platform economics.
  • Originate and qualify product partner conversations aligned with the product roadmap, defining partnership constructs (referral, resell, BYOL, joint GTM, integration-only).
  • Establish standards, scalable processes, and repeatable patterns for commercial and engagement aspects of partnerships.
  • Lead pricing and terms negotiations with the Finance team, including referral fees, minimums, integration fees, and pilot carve-outs, and manage the redline cycle with Legal, InfoSec, and Finance.
  • Own the launch plan with Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, and Customer Success, including alpha site selection, success criteria, GA, joint messaging, and sales enablement.
  • Maintain the target map for adjacent players, source and qualify targets, build investment theses and valuation views, and coordinate diligence for corporate development (buy-side).
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Legal, and Customer Success to ensure partnership commitments align with shipping and support capabilities.
  • Build strategic contacts and meeting plans for industry events like JPM.
