Strategic Finance Associate

Level is seeking a Strategic Finance Associate to join their team and play a critical role in developing and maintaining the company's long-term business strategy. The associate will work cross-collaboratively with leaders across the organization to drive key initiatives such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. They will be responsible for designing and maintaining analytical and financial frameworks to improve decision-making and provide visibility into the company's performance. The associate will also work closely with senior management to prepare presentations and analysis for the Board and employees.

• Maintain the financial model with monthly financial results to track ongoing performance relative to budget, identify any key trends / drivers that impact budget needs, and proactively recommend a course of action if necessary
• Provide in-depth analysis / reports of financial results to understand performance against budget and clearly communicate / collaborate cross-functionally with various departments
• Build and enhance financial models to track critical business and/or customer KPIs and support any ad-hoc financial modeling requests
• Ensure revenue / cash flow planning, KPI / performance targets and capital / fundraising considerations remain in-line with long-term financial strategy
• Manage external credit relationships and reporting requirements
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive key initiatives including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Design and maintain analytical / financial frameworks that drive accountability and improve decision-making
• Prepare key presentations and analysis for senior management, the Board, and employees to provide visibility into performance.

• Experience in financial analysis and forecasting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Proficiency in building and maintaining financial models
• Knowledge of revenue planning and cash flow management
• Familiarity with key performance indicators (KPIs) and performance targets
• Understanding of long-term financial strategy
• Experience in preparing presentations and analysis for senior management and board members
