About The Position

We are looking for an accomplished enterprise seller to drive new business across a broad portfolio of large organizations in the United States. In this senior individual contributor role, you will own your territory, build executive-level relationships, uncover new opportunities, and lead complex sales pursuits from prospecting through contract signature. You will collaborate with product, content, and solution experts while maintaining ownership of commercial outcomes and revenue growth.

Requirements

At least eight years of complex B2B sales experience, including several years selling to large enterprises
A consistent record of personally creating pipeline and closing substantial new business through your own prospecting, relationships and market insight
Experience engaging senior executives and navigating complex, multi-stakeholder organizations
Strong discovery skills and the ability to translate business problems into valuable use cases and commercial opportunities
Experience leading long sales cycles through solution development, negotiation and close, supported by strong commercial judgment and sales discipline
The ability to sell business value while working comfortably with product and technology stakeholders
A resourceful, self-directed approach, intellectual curiosity and the ability to work effectively across functions
Willingness to travel as needed to support customer relationships and major opportunities
Relevant experience may include data, information services, business intelligence, analytics, enterprise SaaS, APIs, AI-enabled workflow solutions, research, advisory, or other commercially focused professional services. Experience selling into Financial Services, Professional Services, Media & PR, or similarly complex enterprise environments would be valuable.

Responsibilities

Build and execute a focused new-business plan, generating pipeline through thoughtful account selection, targeted prospecting and executive outreach
Develop relationships across senior business, functional and technology leaders, identifying new use cases, buying centers and areas of opportunity
Lead consultative discovery and turn important business problems into compelling business cases for change
Shape solutions that may combine enterprise SaaS, data, APIs, AI and business intelligence capabilities
Own the full sales process, from opportunity creation and solution development through negotiation and contract signature
Build internal champions, navigate complex buying groups and position Nexis effectively against established competitors and alternative solutions
Bring together the right internal expertise to advance and close major opportunities
Maintain disciplined account and opportunity plans, accurate forecasts and clear accountability for delivering against an individual new-business target
