About The Position

The Strategic Account Executive drives top-line growth and furthers the company’s mission, getting cybersecurity solutions into the hands of clients who desperately need them. This role demands a self-motivated individual who can open doors, overcome objections, and who will own the sales process from end to end. You will have a highly talented technical team to back you. But you will own the client relationship; you will deliver the solution; you will get the signature. Salary + Commission compensation structure.

Requirements

  • Ability to customize cybersecurity solutions and position them around real business needs and risk.
  • Ability to present solutions and proposals in plain English.
  • Ability to explain the ‘Why’ and bridge the gap between technical jargon and business outcomes.
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Ability to up-sell and cross-sell additional products and services.
  • Provide exceptional communication.
  • Stay up to date with trends, technologies, and competitors within the cybersecurity industry.
  • Understand the product and service offering, and how it best serves our clients.
  • The drive to learn is a must.
  • Influencer who can read a room, build trust, and move individuals and organizations toward decisions.
  • Curious about client issues and problems; eager to solve them.
  • Results-oriented.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and I.T. concepts is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Hunt and win new business; build and work your own pipeline.
  • Identify targets, uncover and create opportunities, and execute your sales plan.
  • Influence and build relationships with client leadership, including CEOs, CISOs, CIOs, IT Directors and Practice Managers.
  • Customize the cybersecurity solution and position it around real business needs and risk.
  • Present solutions and proposals in plain English; explain the ‘Why’; bridge the gap between technical jargon and business outcomes.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, up-selling and cross-selling additional products and services when appropriate.
  • Provide exceptional communication.
  • Stay up to date with trends, technologies, and competitors within the cybersecurity industry.
  • Understand the product and service offering, and how it best serves our clients.
