STOREROOM/DELIVERY (FULL TIME)
About The Position
Mazzone Hospitality is hiring a full-time Storeroom/Delivery associate at Regeneron in Rensselaer, New York. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with additional details provided during the interview. No prior experience is required, and training is provided. The pay range is $16.00 to $17.00 per hour. The associate receives, stores, and tracks departmental food and supply inventory, while maintaining sanitation in storage areas. The role includes ensuring safe and proper storage, keeping required records, ordering supplies under company procedures, transporting food and supplies as needed, and following applicable food-safety and workplace-safety practices.
Requirements
- No previous experience is required; willingness to train.
- A valid driver's license and good driving record may be required when transporting supplies on behalf of the company.
Responsibilities
- Inventory and maintain food and other supplies to support efficient operation of the Food Service Department.
- Store food and supplies in correct containers and designated areas according to department guidelines.
- Maintain records and logs of storage temperatures for perishable food items.
- Date, label, and rotate stock so that the oldest products are used first.
- Order food and supplies according to product specifications and company ordering procedures.
- Secure designated areas containing potential theft risks, dangerous chemicals, supplies, and equipment, and follow storeroom security procedures.
- Transport food and supplies in appropriate containers or vehicles to ensure they arrive safely and intact.
- Follow HACCP guidelines when receiving and distributing food supplies.
- Report needed equipment maintenance or repairs to the appropriate resources.
- Complete required daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time.
- Use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer directions and MSDS sheets.
- Use equipment according to department safety procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
