This position involves performing warehouse-related duties. The responsibilities include cleaning, sweeping, mopping, delivery, pick-up, packing and unpacking, loading and unloading, arranging and labeling bins, stocking and restocking bins, warranty functions, operating lift trucks and trucks on the roadway, and issuing materials and supplies to mechanics and other company employees. The role also requires performing warranty-related functions, understanding and utilizing parts and repair manuals, and possessing computer skills. A strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with current safety equipment and procedures are necessary. The job requires a high school or trade school graduate with a minimum of two years of experience in a Materials Management environment, such as a warehouse storeroom. Excellent work performance and attendance are essential, along with effective written and oral communication skills. Relief supervisory skills are highly desirable. A valid "Type 3" Hawaii State driver's license with a clean traffic abstract is required. The candidate must meet standard physical requirements, including the ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds, pass a Company-sponsored medical examination and drug screening, and maintain Forklift Certification. The role may involve working various shifts, overtime, and holiday duty as directed, with days off as assigned. The ability to work at various warehouse locations is also necessary.
