About The Position
Individual to perform semi-skilled routine and repetitive tasks of safely cleaning and servicing company vehicles; perform second-level maintenance on all company vehicles, revenue as well as non-revenue.
Requirements
- High school or trade school graduate
- Familiar with current safety equipment and procedures
- Valid Hawaii State driver's license with clean traffic abstract
- Able to pass State of Hawaii D.O.T. driving requirements for a "Type B" commercial driver's license
- Able to pass Company-administered written examination
- Able to meet standard physical requirements and pass Company-sponsored medical examination and drug screening
- Willing and able to work various shifts, overtime, holiday duty, and days-off as assigned
Nice To Haves
- Strong mechanical aptitude with preference relating to transit-type operations
- Knowledgeable in fueling, servicing and cleaning of transit vehicles
- Transit servicing experience preferred
- Background in gasoline- and/or diesel-operated vehicles
