About The Position

This position involves performing warehouse-related duties. The responsibilities include cleaning, sweeping, mopping, delivery, pick-up, packing and unpacking, loading and unloading, arranging and labeling bins, stocking and restocking bins, warranty functions, operating lift trucks and trucks on the roadway, issuing materials and supplies to mechanics and other company employees, and other related duties as required.

Requirements

• High school or trade school graduate.
• Minimum of two (2) years' experience in a Materials Management environment such as a warehouse storeroom.
• Computer skills are required.
• Above-average mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to operate miscellaneous warehouse tools and machines required.
• Familiarity with current safety equipment and procedures.
• Valid "Type 3" Hawaii State driver's license with clean traffic abstract.
• Ability to meet standard physical requirements and pass Company-sponsored medical examination and drug screening.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 75 pounds.
• Ability to pass and maintain Forklift Certification.

Nice To Haves

• Inventory control activities or similar experience with public mass transit inventory is preferred.
• Ability to comprehend and utilize parts and repair manuals associated with vehicle industry.
• Relief supervisory skills highly desirable.
