About The Position

Under direct supervision, routinely receives, stores, and distributes supplies, materials, and equipment. This is a Contingent I, 35 hour per week seasonal position. Primary work hours are Monday through Friday, 6:30am - 2:00pm during the academic year from late August to late December, and late January to late May.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED
One year related work experience
ServSafe food handler certificate required within first three months of employment
Working knowledge of the procedures and practices of issuing and storing supplies, materials, and equipment.
Ability to perform basic mathematics
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Ability to follow directions
Ability to operate warehouse material handling equipment
Ability to operate computers and other standard office equipment
Ability to perform extensive standing, walking, and climbing
Ability to lift, transport and stock assigned supplies and materials
Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment
Ability to work in irritating environments and adverse temperature conditions

Except for qualifications established by law, additional related experience and formal education in which one has gained the knowledge, skills, and abilities required for full performance of the work of the job class may be substituted for the education or experience requirement on a year-for-year basis with 30 college credits being equivalent to one year of experience.
