About The Position

REI Co-op is seeking a Store Sales Specialist to help create better outdoor experiences by sharing product knowledge, making recommendations, and engaging with customers. The role supports REI’s customer satisfaction guarantee by facilitating transactions, selling memberships, and offering REI products and services. It also helps maintain the appearance and organization of merchandise on the sales floor and supports store pickup operations. The successful candidate communicates and builds relationships, welcomes feedback and differing viewpoints, uses sound judgment to solve problems, and organizes work and resources to meet priorities and deadlines. Store retail experience is preferred. The position requires schedule flexibility based on business needs. The listed pay range is $17.48–$19.79 per hour.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with questions about products and memberships, including special ticket sales.
Maintain visual standards in coordination with store management, merchandising, and sales leads.
Participate in REI Sales & Service Training and promote REI goods and services.
Support store pickup, including receiving and processing products.
Follow REI loss prevention and safety procedures.
Work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
