About The Position

Community Choice Financial Family of Brands is recruiting for store operations opportunities in Cincinnati, Ohio. Store Operations team members are on the front line of the business, helping customers access financial solutions and providing a high-quality customer experience. The posting invites candidates to meet with a hiring manager at a Career Day on Monday, November 9, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at CheckSmart of Cincinnati #9, 8398 Reading Road, Cincinnati, Ohio 45237. Specific duties may vary by position; see individual job listings for details. In-store positions are in person only. The company provides paid on-the-job training, professional development resources, cross-brand training, and a Key Holder Program intended to support leadership development and advancement. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a professional demeanor with customers and colleagues.
Meticulous attention to detail and ability to enter data accurately.
Proficiency using phones, a POS system, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems.
At least 18 years of age, or 19 in Alabama.
Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and a personal vehicle for use throughout the workday; mileage is compensated.
Successful completion of a background check, conducted and considered in accordance with applicable law.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including frequently remaining stationary, standing up to 90% of the time, moving and transporting up to 25 pounds, moving inside and outside the store, and operating mechanical controls such as a keyboard.

Nice To Haves

Experience in check cashing, document verification, and/or money order processing.
Prior cash handling and cash drawer or vault management experience.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills; may be required at certain locations.

Responsibilities

Greet and connect with customers to build lasting relationships, encourage repeat business, and support brand loyalty.
Help customers access the company’s financial solutions and provide a positive customer experience.
Review, validate, and accurately process transactions such as check cashing, money transfers, and loans or pawns.
Explain transactions to customers and offer financial services suited to their needs.
Assist with customer account management, collections, and accepting customer payments.
Participate in in-store and community events and external marketing.
Help maintain the store’s appearance and cleanliness.
Participate in ongoing training and follow company policies, procedures, and office security protocols.
Manage a cash drawer as part of maintaining a safe and compliant work environment.
