About The Position

The Store Manager is responsible for setting high standards of excellence and modeling the company’s core values while supporting service department operations. The role involves creating a motivated team environment and working hands-on in the store with the Service Team to improve performance through team development and execution of store processes, while providing an industry-leading customer experience.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience preferred in a Service Advisor/Writer role, preferably at Brakes Plus.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers on sales, service, customer opportunities, adjustments, and related matters.
• Create a highly motivated team environment.
• Supervise technicians and service advisors; plan and schedule duties, assign work, and follow up on assignments.
• Coach service department teammates on operational issues.
• Evaluate service department personnel performance and productivity.
• Manage parts inventory and outside purchases, and update and restock in-house parts as needed.
• Ensure store safety, including the use and maintenance of safety equipment.
• Ensure equipment and hardware are properly laid out and positioned within the service department.
• Supervise the shop area, equipment, and teammates for compliance with company safety procedures.
• Ensure proper inspections are conducted.
