About The Position
The Store Manager in Waiting program develops and evaluates future retail leaders through hands-on experience in a store environment. Advancement into a leadership role depends on demonstrated performance, leadership readiness, and business needs. Team members not selected for a leadership role at the end of the program will be placed into an appropriate Jewelry Consultant level based on qualifications, performance, and business needs, with any applicable compensation adjustment. Candidates should understand that this is a temporary developmental role lasting 180 days and that multiple outcomes are possible at its conclusion. The position is limited to external new hires. It is based in the Central/North Florida area and reports to the District Manager.
Requirements
- Previous management or leadership experience.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated leadership potential and a desire to pursue a management career with Signet.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work successfully in a fast-paced retail environment.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences and achieving business results.
