About The Position

Town Pump is seeking a motivated and outgoing Store Maintenance team member. The role supports store operations through customer service, mechanical operation and repairs, housekeeping, security, and assistance to cashiers and managers. The employee maintains fuel pumps and associated equipment, performs building and property upkeep, and helps keep the store running by coming in as needed. The position involves outdoor work and exposure to cold and other weather conditions, as well as using tools and protective equipment.

Requirements

• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Practice safe procedures when performing repairs and handling tools.
• Wear protective clothing and other necessary personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and interact with the public.
• Operate, repair, grease, clean, and test fuel pumps and associated equipment, including refrigeration, HVAC systems, and control systems.
• Follow safe repair and tool-handling procedures and wear protective clothing and other necessary personal protective equipment.
• Clean and paint buildings, sidewalks, and fuel islands.
• Maintain buildings and property, including landscaping and trash and snow removal.
• Maintain use or repair books, safety manuals, duty logs, pump inspections, and electrical schematics.
• Maintain lighting, including replacing lamps and ballasts.
• Come in as needed to help keep the store running.
• Assist clerks, cashiers, or managers as needed.
• Support store housekeeping and security.
