About The Position

Town Pump is seeking a motivated and outgoing Store Grocery Merchandiser. This role maintains accurate product pricing and inventory, keeps the store clean and attractively merchandised, orders and checks in merchandise from multiple vendors, and ensures products are stocked, rotated, and fresh. The position also performs clerk duties as described in the clerk job description.

Responsibilities

• Correct and maintain product pricing, including downloading price changes, maintaining cooler pricing and white-tag items, updating product tag numbers, and tracking updated and discontinued items.
• Keep the store clean and attractive, with quality merchandise available.
• Maintain accurate inventory pricing, including price changes, markups, and markdowns.
• Order merchandise from multiple vendors and check in vendor products.
• Return guaranteed items weekly.
• Cross-reference deliveries and put away stock orders while keeping backstock to a minimum.
• Stock and rotate products and monitor expiration dates to ensure freshness.
• Build merchandise displays and set merchandise according to schematics, with vendor assistance.
• Print price books and maintain PLUs, displays, and signage.
• Perform clerk duties as described in the clerk job description.
