About The Position

The Grocery Merchandiser manages an assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, audits, and other tasks. The role involves pre-selling, merchandising, and gaining or maintaining product distribution across grocery accounts. The merchandiser ensures client products are stocked and accurately represented, and orders products when they are out of stock or running low. Work is performed independently in a fast-paced retail environment, with regular communication and coordination with store teams and C.A. Fortune.

The position is based in Hialeah Gardens, Florida, and covers stores within a 25–55 mile radius. It is full-time, 40 hours per week over five days. Compensation is $20 per hour. The role requires frequent use of mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication, as well as the ability to repeatedly stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation and ability to drive to stores in the assigned territory.
• Valid driver's license and proof of automobile insurance.
• Reliable phone no more than five years old, with service and internet access for daily communication.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently.
• Ability to repeatedly stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual ability is preferred but not required.
• Previous retail, sales, or merchandising experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, audits, and tasks.
• Pre-sell and merchandise products, and gain or maintain product distribution in grocery accounts.
• Build strong relationships with store teams.
• Order products and move product from new orders onto shelves.
• Ensure client products are well stocked and accurately represented on store shelves; order products that are out of stock or low.
• Use mobile apps to complete reports, upload photos, complete tasks, and communicate.
• Travel between store locations within the designated territory.
• Maintain a safe working environment in stores.
• Maintain a professional appearance and follow dress code and attendance guidelines.
• Follow additional guidelines established by store teams.
• Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.
