About The Position

C.A. Fortune is hiring a full-time Grocery Merchandiser to manage an assigned territory in Hialeah Gardens, Florida, within a 25–55-mile radius. The role is 40 hours per week across five days and pays $20 per hour. The merchandiser completes store visits, surveys, audits, and other assigned tasks, using provided technology to take photos and submit reports. The work includes pre-selling, merchandising, and gaining and maintaining product distribution across grocery accounts. The merchandiser ensures products are stocked and orders products when inventory is low or unavailable. This position involves regular travel between stores, frequent use of mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication, and switching among stocking, reporting, and communicating with store teams. It is performed independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced retail environment. The role requires regularly standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds, and maintaining a safe work environment and professional appearance while following store and company guidelines.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Reliable transportation, a valid driver license, and proof of automobile insurance.
A reliable phone no more than five years old, with service and internet access for daily communication.
Ability to drive to stores in the assigned territory to complete retail tasks and audits.
Strong communication skills and the ability to follow directions and work independently.
Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift or carry up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment with minimal supervision.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual ability is preferred but not required.
Previous retail, sales, or merchandising experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

Manage the assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, audits, and assigned tasks.
Gain and maintain product distribution by building relationships with store teams.
Pre-sell and merchandise products across a variety of grocery accounts.
Ensure client products are well stocked, accurately represented on shelves, and ordered when low or out of stock.
Work products from new orders onto store shelves.
Use mobile apps to complete reports, upload photos, finish tasks, and communicate.
Travel between store locations within the designated territory.
Maintain a safe working environment in stores and comply with additional guidelines established by store teams.
Maintain a professional appearance and follow dress code and attendance guidelines.
Attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.
