About The Position

C.A. Fortune is hiring a full-time Grocery Merchandiser to manage an assigned territory in the Beaverton, Oregon area, within a 40–60 mile radius. The role involves selling and merchandising products, gaining and maintaining product distribution across grocery accounts, and completing store visits, audits, surveys, and other tasks. The position is scheduled for 35–40 hours per week and pays $23 per hour, based on experience, qualifications, and skills.

The merchandiser will ensure client products are stocked, order products when they are out of stock or low, and verify that products are accurately represented on store shelves. The work requires independent travel between stores, regular use of mobile apps for reporting, photo uploads, task completion, and communication, and frequent coordination with store teams. It is a physical, fast-paced retail role involving standing, walking, bending, squatting, and lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds. The employee will work with minimal supervision, follow directions and store guidelines, maintain a professional appearance and safe working environment, and attend client kickoff video calls and team check-ins as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Reliable transportation.
• Valid driver's license.
• Proof of automobile insurance.
• Reliable phone no more than five years old, with service and internet access for daily communication.
• Ability to drive to stores in the assigned territory to complete retail tasks and audits.
• Strong communication skills and ability to follow directions independently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, and lift regularly throughout the day.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to bend or stoop for extended periods.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced retail environment with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Manage the assigned territory by completing store visits, surveys, audits, and other tasks.
• Gain and maintain product distribution by building strong relationships with store teams.
• Sell and merchandise products across a variety of accounts.

• Work newly ordered products onto store shelves.
