About The Position

The Store Facilities Team Member performs general maintenance functions in and around Fleet Farm’s property and helps maintain neat, clean public spaces. The role combines basic equipment and building maintenance with cleaning and upkeep of the store’s interior, exterior, parking areas, and car wash. The position also provides friendly, efficient customer service and submits maintenance work orders when outside expertise is needed.

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance functions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service in all customer interactions.
• Perform basic inspections and repairs on equipment and units such as forklifts, floor scrubbers, and generators.
• Submit maintenance work orders when outside expertise is needed.
• Maintain walkways and parking lot areas, including removing snow and ice from entries and exits, salting or sanding as needed, and repairing ruts and potholes.
• Perform routine car wash maintenance, including daily and monthly inspections of soap and wax levels, nozzle flows, vacuums, waste levels, and overall cleanliness.
• Maintain the clean appearance of the facility’s interior and exterior, including lights, signage, grass and weed control, and cart corrals.
• Clean and polish floors, windows, mirrors, vending machines, and ice machines.
• Clean public areas, including public floors, service areas, restrooms, furniture, and vents.
