About The Position

This position is responsible for assisting with day-to-day operations of the entire LCCS complex including all grounds, buildings and equipment.

Requirements

• General knowledge and skill with hand and power tools
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
• Good organizational skills
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Detail oriented
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and use sound judgment
• Innovative
• Strong work ethic
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Carpentry experience and/or construction experience

Responsibilities

• Performs day-to-day inspections, preventative maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment
• Performs cleaning activities
• Responds to emergency situations and evaluates and corrects issues
• Performs minor fixes
• Installs appliances and equipment
• Performs maintenance tasks
• Checks functionality of safety systems
• Collaborates with workers and other professional during renovations
• Performs set-up and tear down for events
• Other duties as assigned
