About The Position

The Store Facilities Team Member performs general maintenance functions in and around Fleet Farm property and helps keep public spaces neat and clean. The role includes providing friendly and efficient customer service, carrying out basic equipment inspections and repairs, maintaining the store’s interior and exterior, and cleaning public and service areas. The position also involves outdoor upkeep, including snow and ice removal, and routine maintenance and inspections of the car wash.

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance functions preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and efficient customer service in all customer interactions.
• Perform basic inspections and repairs on equipment and units, including forklifts, floor scrubbers, and generators.
• Submit maintenance work orders when outside expertise is needed.
• Maintain walkways and parking lot areas, including snow and ice removal from entries and exits, salting or sanding as needed, and general repair of ruts and potholes.
• Perform routine car-wash maintenance, including daily and monthly inspections of soap and wax levels, nozzle flows, vacuums, waste levels, and overall cleanliness.
• Maintain a clean interior and exterior facility appearance, including lights, signage, grass and weed control, and cart corrals.
• Clean and polish floors, windows, mirrors, vending machines, and ice machines.
• Clean public areas, including public floors, service areas, restrooms, furniture, and vents.
