About The Position

This position is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver Brand Promises. The role involves delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers in shopping, and collecting and disposing of trash. It also includes dusting and mopping floors, moving equipment and products for proper cleaning, and cleaning assigned areas with provided materials and equipment. The Team Member may be required to mix cleaning solutions and perform deep cleaning of key areas like bathrooms, breakrooms, and high-traffic zones to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and staff. Additionally, the role requires keeping cleaning equipment neat, notifying supervisors of supply needs, and taking initiative to identify and complete cleaning tasks. The Team Member must also maintain positive interactions, project a positive image, and serve as a role model. Other duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, engaging customers in Rewards program and credit card enrollments, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS, SFS), participating in truck un-loads, stocking, and planogram processes, supporting shrink and safety programs, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.

Requirements

Must be at least sixteen (16) years or older.
Ability to remain standing for long periods of time.
Ability to move throughout the store.
Regular bending, lifting, carrying, reaching and stretching.
Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves by ladder or similar equipment.
Use of standard commercial cleaners and chemicals from cleaning supplies.

Responsibilities

Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures.
Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
Move equipment and products for proper cleaning and place products back in correct placement.
Clean assigned areas with the use of assigned materials and equipment.
Mix water and detergents in containers to prepare cleaning solutions.
Deep clean key areas of the store including bathrooms, breakrooms, entry ways and other high traffic areas.
Keep cleaning equipment neat and orderly and notify supervisor of supply needs.
Seek out areas requiring cleaning and take initiative to complete the task.
Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
Maintain positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers.
Project a positive image and serve as a role model.
Provide a fast and friendly check out experience.
Execute cash handling to standards.
Engage customers on benefits of Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship from Store (SFS).
Participate in the truck un-load, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes.
Support shrink and safety programs.
Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs.
Execute Company policies and standards.
