The Store Environment Team Member is responsible for maintaining a high standard of overall look and feel of the store, including cleanliness and recovery standards, to deliver on Brand Promises. This role involves providing friendly customer service, assisting customers with shopping, and performing various cleaning tasks such as collecting and disposing of trash, mopping floors, moving equipment and products for proper cleaning, and deep cleaning key areas like bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and high-traffic areas. The team member must also keep cleaning equipment orderly, notify supervisors of supply needs, and proactively seek out areas requiring cleaning. Additionally, the role may include supporting other store operations such as checkout, cash handling, engaging customers in loyalty programs, assisting with Omni channel processes (BOPIS and SFS), participating in truck un-load, stocking, and planogram processes, and supporting shrink and safety programs. All tasks must be performed in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines, maintaining positive interactions with team members and customers, and projecting a positive image.
