This position is responsible for maintaining a high standard of the overall look and feel of the store, which includes maintaining store cleanliness and recovery standards to deliver our Brand Promises. The role also involves delivering friendly customer service, assisting customers in shopping the store and finding what they need. Additionally, the team member will handle tasks such as collecting and disposing of trash, dusting and mopping floors, moving equipment and products for cleaning, and cleaning assigned areas with provided materials and equipment. This may involve mixing cleaning solutions. The role requires deep cleaning of key areas like bathrooms, breakrooms, entryways, and other high-traffic areas to ensure a clean and safe environment for customers and staff. The team member must maintain cleaning equipment, notify supervisors of supply needs, and proactively identify areas requiring cleaning. All tasks must be completed in accordance with federal, state, and county guidelines. Maintaining positive and respectful interactions with team members and customers is crucial, as is projecting a positive image and serving as a role model. Other duties may include providing a fast and friendly checkout experience, executing cash handling, engaging customers about rewards programs and credit cards, assisting with omnichannel processes (BOPIS, Ship from Store), participating in truck unloads, stocking, and planogram processes, and supporting shrink and safety programs. Adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs is required to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements.
