About The Position

The Store Director Assistant works closely with the Store Director to manage store operations and support the success of the store. The role helps coordinate department activities, implement company policies and procedures, and provide leadership to the store team. It contributes to a positive customer shopping experience and achievement of store objectives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of retail operations, including sales, inventory management, and customer service principles.
• Understanding of store policies and procedures, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills for communicating with employees, customers, and vendors.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and retail management software.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively with a diverse team.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Director in overseeing daily store operations, including inventory management, employee scheduling, and customer service.
• Coordinate with department managers to support efficient workflow and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership and guidance to store employees, including training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
• Assist in developing and implementing strategies to drive sales and achieve financial targets.
• Monitor and analyze store performance metrics, including sales trends, inventory levels, and customer feedback, and recommend improvements.
• Resolve customer complaints and inquiries professionally and promptly, escalating issues to the Store Director when necessary.
• Inspect store premises regularly to support cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to maintain adequate stock levels and negotiate favorable pricing and terms.
• Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and reports for senior management review.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Store Director to support store objectives.
