About The Position

This entry-level clerk position makes essential gospel teachings, resources, and services accessible to customers. The role fosters an environment of reverence and respect, guides customers in making informed product decisions, and provides exceptional customer service. The incumbent must be endowed and hold a current recommend. This is a part-time position of 12 hours per week, with no benefits offered.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to complete internal customer service training within one month of hire.
Basic math, reading, computer, and cashiering skills.
Good communication skills and demonstrated ability to work well with others.
Ability to work under direct supervision and follow standard procedures and written instructions to accomplish assigned tasks.
Ability to work as scheduled and needed, including Saturdays and holidays.
Must be endowed and hold a current recommend.
Ability to meet physical requirements that may include standing for long periods, stooping, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds.

Retail sales and/or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and ascertain their needs.
Provide high-quality customer service and product knowledge to assist customers.
Develop an understanding of product contents and properties to adequately serve customers.
Respond to customer questions about curriculum, proper clothing fit, or similar issues.
May provide personal fitting consultations to patrons at the distribution store.
Prepare merchandise for purchase.
Operate the point-of-sale terminal, finalize product sales, and process returns.
May assist the store supervisor with store displays, presentation, and shelf inventory.
May assist the store supervisor with inventory and cycle counts.
May perform housekeeping duties to keep the facility, equipment, and storage areas in good condition.
Work as scheduled and needed, including Saturdays and holidays.
Assist with other operational responsibilities as needed.
