About The Position

The Seasonal Store Associate supports and maintains the integrity of the Vera Bradley experience by providing exceptional customer service, upholding store image standards, maximizing sales, and assisting with store operational needs. The role includes engaging guests, supporting team selling, maintaining an inviting and organized store, processing sales transactions, and complying with company policies and procedures.

The position involves constant walking and standing, frequent bending, stooping, and reaching, and working around strong fragrances and scented products throughout the workday. Associates must have strong sensory skills and consistently lift 10–35 pounds, occasionally lift up to 55 pounds, and be able to push or pull more than 55 pounds. Nice To Haves

• High school graduation preferred.
• Prior retail experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with a retail POS system is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engage guests and enhance their experience through product awareness and team selling.
• Treat Vera Bradley employees and guests with respect and maintain a positive work environment.
• Drive store results through add-on selling and conversion that meet guests’ wants and needs.
• Assist with visual merchandising to maintain Vera Bradley brand standards.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment for customers.
• Maintain stock room organization.
• Accurately process transactions in a professional manner using the POS system.
• Comply with established company policies and procedures.
