About The Position

Support and maintain the integrity of Vera Bradley’s customer experience through exceptional service, upholding store image standards, maximizing sales, and assisting with store operational needs. The role includes engaging guests through product awareness and team selling, supporting sales results, maintaining merchandising and store standards, and processing transactions. Associates must follow company policies and procedures and help create a clean, organized, and inviting shopping environment.

• Ability to walk and stand constantly, and bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
• Ability to work around strong fragrances and scents throughout the workday.
• Strong sensory skills, including good eyesight and hearing, and dexterity.
• Ability to consistently lift 10–35 lbs and occasionally lift up to 55 lbs, and to push or pull more than 55 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• High school graduation preferred.
• Prior retail experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with a retail POS system is a plus.

• Engage guests and enhance their experience through product awareness and team selling.
• Treat Vera Bradley employees and guests with respect and maintain a positive work environment.
• Drive store results through add-on selling and conversion that meet guests’ wants and needs.
• Assist with visual merchandising to maintain Vera Bradley brand standards.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting environment for customers.
• Maintain stockroom organization.
• Accurately process sales transactions in a professional manner using the POS system.
• Comply with established company policies and procedures.
