About The Position

Store Associates support daily operations at Lidl stores and deliver a fast, customer-focused shopping experience. This is a dynamic, team-based role that involves working across checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and weekly promotional setups. Associates follow structured efficiency standards and operational processes while adapting to real-time store needs. The position includes serving customers, maintaining product freshness and presentation, setting up promotional displays, keeping store areas clean, processing transactions and returns, supporting inventory controls, and following safety procedures. Associates collaborate with the team to complete daily work and help ensure smooth store operations across shifts.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products up to and in excess of 45 lbs. and frequently reach above head height (10+ inches).

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Transition between checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and other areas as store needs require.
Meet productivity goals and follow Lidl processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Perform daily freshness checks in produce and chilled areas.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, with accurate signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price lookup codes (PLUs).
Handle customer inquiries and returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
Follow inventory control measures to support inventory accuracy and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
