About The Position

Store Associates support all aspects of daily store operations in a fast-paced, structured, team-based environment. The role includes serving customers, operating the register, stocking merchandise, supporting bakery and produce areas, setting up promotional displays, and maintaining store cleanliness and product quality. Associates follow Lidl’s processes, productivity standards, inventory controls, and safety guidelines while working with the team to complete daily tasks and support smooth store operations.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products up to and in excess of 45 lbs. and frequently reach above head height (10+ inches).

Responsibilities

Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
Move between checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and other areas to meet store needs.
Meet productivity goals and follow Lidl’s operating processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Perform freshness checks in produce and chilled areas and maintain quality and presentation standards.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, including signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price look-up codes (PLUs).
Answer customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
Follow inventory control measures to support inventory accuracy and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and ensure smooth operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
