About The Position

Store Associates support all aspects of daily store operations while delivering fast, friendly customer service. The role involves moving between checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and promotional displays in response to store needs. Associates work in a structured, team-based, fast-paced environment, following Lidl’s processes and efficiency standards to maintain product quality, accurate inventory, clean facilities, and smooth store operations.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to lift, carry, move, or slide products weighing up to and in excess of 45 pounds, and frequently reach above head height (10+ inches).

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, efficient customer service.
Transition between checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and other areas as store needs change.
Meet productivity goals and follow Lidl processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
Perform freshness checks in produce and chilled areas and maintain quality and presentation standards.
Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers, including accurate signage and pricing.
Maintain cleanliness across the sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
Operate the register quickly and accurately, including memorizing produce price look-up codes (PLUs).
Handle customer inquiries and returns, and resolve or escalate customer issues professionally.
Follow inventory control measures to help maintain accurate inventory and reduce stock loss.
Follow safety procedures and operational guidelines to maintain a safe environment.
Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time and support smooth operations for the next shift.
Perform other duties as assigned.
