About The Position

Eye Associates in Columbia, Maryland, is seeking a part-time Associate Optometrist to provide high-quality, personalized eye care in a supportive clinical environment. The practice has served the community since the early 1990s and, since Dr. Rana assumed ownership in 2017, has expanded its services to include primary vision services, comprehensive medical eye care, specialty contact lenses, myopia management, and dry eye treatment. The practice plans to expand dry eye treatment using IPL and radiofrequency technology. The role involves working 8–20 hours per week and caring for 14–20 patients per shift. The optometrist will provide comprehensive eye care using diagnostic equipment including OCT, retinal photography, visual field testing, corneal topography, pachymetry, a digital refractive lane, optical biometry, and an autorefractor. The position may have the ability to become full-time. The successful candidate will provide care to patients of all ages and visual needs, communicate clearly, collaborate with clinical and administrative teams, adapt to evolving clinical needs and treatment approaches, and support a positive practice culture and the vision health of the Columbia community.

Requirements

Maryland TPA certification.
Optometry license in the state of Maryland.
Compassionate and skilled approach to patient care.
Clear communication skills.
