About The Position

Store Associates provide customers with Lidl’s shopping experience. The role involves a range of store operations, including stocking, cleaning, bakery operations, and non-food merchandising. Successful associates work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapt to different ways of doing business, communicate openly, and contribute to providing customers with high-quality, low-price, hassle-free shopping.

Associates unpack deliveries, assist customers throughout the store, maintain cleanliness and organization, and learn tasks in the bakery, produce area, and weekly promotional setup. They communicate with management and colleagues to complete tasks as needed.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to lift, move, carry, or slide products weighing over 50 pounds.
• Ability to reach above the head to heights greater than 10 inches.
• Flexibility to start an early shift at 5 a.m. or finish a late shift at 11 p.m., including weekends.
• Positive attitude when priorities change.
• Friendly communication style with the team and customers.
• Willingness to work hard in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Unpack stock as deliveries arrive while maintaining a quick pace.
• Provide excellent customer service at registers and throughout the store, including answering questions and helping customers locate items.
• Keep the store clean and organized throughout the shift, including the parking lot, sales floor, breakroom, and warehouse.
• Learn and complete tasks in the bakery, produce area, and weekly promotional setup.
• Communicate clearly with management and colleagues to complete tasks and contribute as a team player.
