About The Position

The Retail Store Associate works in a customer-focused retail setting, both independently and as part of a team, helping customers and supporting store operations. The role provides an opportunity to contribute to customers’ health and shopping experiences by delivering helpful service, maintaining store departments, and supporting CVS services and loyalty programs. The associate may also assist pharmacy personnel, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as opportunities arise. The position is full-time, with 40 anticipated weekly hours.

Requirements

At least 16 years of age.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating customer needs, demonstrating compassion and care, and identifying and resolving potential service issues.
Greet customers warmly, maintain eye contact, and offer help locating items when needed.
Accurately perform cashier duties involving cash, checks, and credit card transactions while following company policies and procedures.
Maintain the sales floor by restocking shelves, checking in vendors, updating pricing information, and completing inventory tasks as directed by the store manager.
Support store opening and closing activities when needed.
Provide customer support to all departments, including photo and beauty, helping ensure departments are fully stocked and operational and staying current with updated services and tools.
Assist pharmacy personnel when needed, including working regular pharmacy shifts as part of growth and career development opportunities.
Embrace and advocate for CVS services and loyalty programs.
